Winegrower’s Selection
From our Cellar to your Door
We’ve heard from many of you that busy lives have made frequent visits to Linden more difficult. If you’ve missed special releases and small-lot bottlings, Linden’s subscription offering may be of interest.
The Winegrower’s Selection will include six-bottle shipments twice a year of small-lot bottlings, unusual wines, and vintages of which we are particularly proud. The November 2024 shipment included the Cabernet Franc 2022 (pre-release), Avenius Red 2019, Claret 2021, Hardscrabble Chardonnay 2022, Wabi Sabi 2021 (pre-release), and Boisseau Viognier 2021 (pre-release). The next shipment will be in April 2025 with wines selected this winter.
Currently, the cost ranges from $260-$325 per shipment (6 bottles, two times per year) depending on selection, plus any applicable taxes and shipping fees. Shipments will go out in April and November.

The Winegrower’s Selection is a subscription to send Linden’s wines directly to you. We will select 6 special bottles for shipment twice per year (12 bottles total in one year). Selections can include pre-releases not yet available in our tasting room, small-lot bottlings, unusual wines, or vintages of which we are particularly proud.

Six bottles of Linden wine shipped directly to you twice a year, and automatic enrollment or renewal in Friends of Linden.
Friends are entitled to:
10% discount off a case purchase (12 bottles). Cases can be mixed.
Invitations to exclusive events such as special library or barrel tastings, vineyard and harvest tours, and educational events.
Access to all seating during regular hours, including weekends (maximum group size is 4).
Regular newsletter highlighting new releases, vineyard updates, library tastings, and priority notice of special events.

There are no fees to join. The only cost is the cost of the wine. The average cost of each installment of six bottles is approximately $260- $325 in the first year. Tax and shipping are additional. Automatic billing to your credit card occurs at shipment.

Your enrollment in the Winegrower’s Selection will automatically renew unless you cancel your membership, or your membership is terminated. If you would like to cancel, simply email your request to wine@lindenvineyards.com. We must receive your notice of cancellation at least one week prior to the next shipment. Processed shipments will not be refunded.

Each installment is a selection by winegrower Jim Law of white and red wines. Selections will include pre-releases not yet available in our tasting room, small-lot bottlings, unusual wines, and vintages of which we are particularly proud. Each installment will include tasting notes on the selected wines, complete with food pairing suggestions.

We ship to Virginia, DC, and Maryland via UPS. We are planning to expand to more states in 2025. At delivery, each package must be signed for by someone 21 years or older.

Orders ship in April and November and are billed prior to shipping. Upon enrollment, you are agreeing to accept automatic shipments of wine. The date of delivery depends on your delivery location. Under certain weather conditions, we may delay shipping to ensure your wines arrive safely. Wines cannot be returned.

If you coordinate in advance of the shipment date, we can hold wine for pick up for six weeks. After six weeks we cannot guarantee the same selection of wines. Shipping charges will be billed automatically, but you will receive a refund at pickup.

All updates to your membership information can be made by emailing wine@lindenvineyards.com or by calling the winery at 540-364-1997. To ensure you receive your installments, please maintain up-to-date billing and/or shipping information. Processed shipments will not be refunded.

Yes, you can add additional wines to your shipment by prior arrangement . This can be done by emailing wine@lindenvineyards.com to add to your installment or order from our website at any time.

The Winegrower’s Selection is a subscription to receive Linden’s wines directly to you. We will select 6 bottles for shipment twice per year (12 bottles total in one year). We are unable to do substitutions for the wines included in each installment of the Winegrower’s Selection.
Eligibility: All purchasers and recipients must be 21 years of age or older. All shipments are delivered via UPS and an adult 21 years of age or older must be available to sign for the shipment upon arrival. We ship only to DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
Payment: If you purchase the Winegrower’s Selection, you are subscribing to an automatically renewing subscription requiring recurring payments twice per year until you cancel. You authorize us to charge you the cost of the wine in the selection, which will vary depending on the selected wines between $260-$325 per shipment (6 bottles, two times per year), depending on selection, in the first year, and any applicable taxes and shipping fees. There are no other fees associated with the subscription. You agree that Linden Vineyards may charge your credit card without further authorization until you cancel your subscription or change your payment method. Payments will be processed by Linden Vineyards in November and April ahead of shipments or at sign up.
Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription by emailing wine@lindenvineyards.com at least one (1) week before a shipment of wine. Processed shipments will not be refunded. Wine cannot be returned. If we cannot process your credit card we reserve the right to cancel your subscription. There is no minimum time commitment to membership. If you cancel your subscription, your membership space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist, as applicable.

It is your responsibility to notify Linden Vineyards of any changes to personal information which includes email, billing, and shipping addresses. The date of delivery depends on your delivery state. Under certain weather conditions, we may delay shipping to ensure your wines arrive safely. Wines cannot be returned. Extra charges incurred for redirected or returned wine shipments are the responsibility of the customer and charges will be applied to your credit card on file. If you coordinate in advance of the shipment date, we can hold wine for pick up for six weeks. After six weeks we cannot guarantee the same selection of wines.
